PROJECT 2026-THE LAP AROUND AUSTRALIA!

 

1.TRAVELLER 2026- Blog Intro

 

JUNE -On the Road again! We = Me, Wife, Dog and Caravan! We are heading north again to escape the WA winter and head to the Tropics! That’s the beauty of Australia- it’s so big and one can follow the Sun ! I’m retired now from Chefing and Teaching but still Travelling and Writing, and of course Cooking- always! So watch this space as it’s going to be a long journey! 

We will be attempting to do the FULL LAP! 

Also I will be updating my social media and created a few ‘shorts’’ or ‘Postcards’ of travel and food of course. So I should be on Facebook, Blogger, Instagram and I will be trying YouTube, and Pinterest.

Hopefully I will be improving my media skills as I go, and lots of Exploring of course. Mostly Travel now but of course still some food themes also - like Tasters for my next book. For example a Frittata here, for our first few days lunches! A great Taster dish for camping 👍 plus photos of our first stop and our reading material- themes 😎

  UPDATE 2026 As I navigate through a new year of semi retirement (50 YEARS Working!) and a new blog, I realise that I am better at navigating my way around the world and around a recipe, than on social media! Catalan Spinach

Subscribe to my Youtube channel below folks for another live video on Catalonian dishes. This is the lovely Spinach & Pine-nut Dish-very quick to make/just a 10 minute video. I was in a rush (life!) so I mentioned  chicken from last week, just ignore that-its live! i also toasted the pine nuts in the oven but all details are in my recipe on my website on the 'Classes' page. This video shows the main points. For Vegetarains you can miss out the Ham and replace with another seasonal veg of your choice. Enjoy!
