UPDATE 2026

As I navigate through a new year of semi retirement (50 YEARS Working!) and a new blog, I realise that I am better at navigating my way around the world and around a recipe, than on social media! So bear with me.

I am mainly spending the 2020's now Travelling to Asia and Europe (2025) and this year around Australia.  But I am still available for cooking classes at schools in the South West of WA and Online classes, which were popular in 2024. As well as continuing to write my 'Taste of the World' Travel/Cook books.

My first book with over 20 published true Travel & Chef short stories and 30 recipes from 18 countries is now for sale on:Books.by: (my own bookstore)

So here is a traditional biscuit to nibble on with a cuppa! Just remember when you are making any pastry or cake, the freshness of the flour and eggs will affect the final product. Catalan Spinach

Subscribe to my Youtube channel below folks for another live video on Catalonian dishes. This is the lovely Spinach & Pine-nut Dish-very quick to make/just a 10 minute video. I was in a rush (life!) so I mentioned  chicken from last week, just ignore that-its live! i also toasted the pine nuts in the oven but all details are in my recipe on my website on the 'Classes' page. This video shows the main points. For Vegetarains you can miss out the Ham and replace with another seasonal veg of your choice. Enjoy!
